Sodium Triflinate(also known as Langlois reagent) is an efficient sulfinate salt for the typical radical trifluoromethylation of various aryls, aryl boronic acids, alkenes, and alkynes and for trifluoromethylthiolation of arenes and heteroarenes. It is also employed as the intermediate for the preparation of agrochemical and lithium battery electrolyte.
